My approach to social work is defined by the diverse environments I’ve served in. Before becoming a Special Education School Social Worker, I built a foundation across a wide spectrum of social services. My experience ranges from:

  • Crisis & Behavioral Support: Serving as a Juvenile Detention Youth Counselor,
  • Specialized Care: Managing group homes for children with autism,
  • Clinical Case Management: Supporting adults navigating schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

These “real-world” roles allow me to see beyond a diagnosis. I look at every situation through a unique lens, fueled by a deep understanding of the systemic and personal challenges my clients face.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative partnership, not a lecture. I utilize an authentic and direct communication style, listening to understand rather than just to respond. My practice is rooted in a strengths-based approach, focusing on practical problem-solving through evidence-based models such as: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and graduate of Aurora University, I am currently pursuing my clinical hours for my LCSW licensure. My primary mission is to empower clients to:

  • Identify Core Values: Understanding what truly matters to you.
  • Autonomy: Encouraging you to make your own informed choices.
  • Collaborative Growth: Building a relationship that fosters long-term mental wellness.
