Cagney Cappelli

Cagney Cappelli is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor in the state of Illinois. He also is a Board Registered Mental Illness/Substance Abuse Professional. He received his Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Substance Abuse from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

Cagney has provided counseling, EAP, treatment groups, and assessment across a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, and hospital settings. At the Four Winds Psychiatric Hospital, he worked with a dual diagnosis population facilitating therapeutic groups and providing individual counseling. He continued his experience in assessment and treatment planning, substance abuse psycho-education, group, individual, and family counseling at the Ravenswood Hospital and Community Counseling Centers of Chicago. He has experience working with severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children and adolescents as well as working with court-ordered DUI offenders. He has worked in the private practice setting since 2005, offering individual, couples, and family counseling.

Cagney offers psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
